Sock time

Finally finished an incredibly boring pair of ribbed socks for myself, after casting them on in November. I somehow thought that they'd work up quickly but they were so dull I just didn't pick them up!  

This yarn is lovely, Tough Love Sock from Georgia Brown. 

Bright, isn't it? 

As you probably gathered, it's not a me colour, but a Murph colour. My beloved has been proactive in marking up sock patterns that she'd like... 

She even colour coded it.  

So I'm casting on to knit a pattern by Anne Woodbury called Merino Lace Socks. They're cuff down which I find oddly disconcerting, as I think I've only knitted about two pairs that way. Will embrace the challenge!
